Accountant

What you will do

• Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with US GAAP and local standards.
• Support monthly and annual financial close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct detailed financial data analysis for internal and external reporting.
• Collaborate with auditors and government authorities to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to SOX requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-1+ years of relevant experience (or 0 years with a Master's degree).
• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with US GAAP compliance and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills for managing complex financial data.

Nice to have

• Active pursuit of certifications such as CPA, ACCA, MICPA, or MIA.
• Experience with automation tools like Power BI, Python, Power Automate, or SQL.
• Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives.
