TL;DR

Senior Cloud, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/Terraform): Building and supporting secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure and platform services with an accent on automation, reliability, and CI/CD optimization. Focus on reducing manual work through Infrastructure as Code, improving observability, and ensuring system stability in high-traffic production environments.

Location: Hybrid in Manila, Philippines

What you will do

  • Design and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure and platform services.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation scripts to improve consistency and reduce manual work.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for safer and faster releases.
  • Manage production environments through monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning with tools like Datadog, ELK, or Splunk.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Partner with engineering and security teams to define and improve SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and production-grade cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS) in production.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Must be based in Manila, Philippines.

Nice to have

  • Experience in high-availability, transaction-heavy fintech or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of Kafka (AWS MSK or Confluent) and Aurora PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments, including Azure.
  • Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Kafka.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers.
