What you will do

• Lead the capture and processing of photogrammetry, Gaussian splats, LiDAR, and drone aerial imaging.
• Operate specialized scanners (laser line, structured light, photometric stereo) and drones for large-scale environments.
• Manage photogrammetry technicians in the field to ensure the highest quality and efficient data capture.
• Research and implement emerging technologies and workflows related to 3D data acquisition.
• Collaborate with the Photogrammetry Processing Lead to ensure data fidelity meets unique imaging requirements.
• Maintain equipment and document capture workflows for archival and training purposes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in LiDAR, photogrammetry, and camera field work.
• 2+ years of drone capture experience with a valid FAA 107 license.
• Expert knowledge of photography, lighting, and various 3D scanning technologies.
• Extensive understanding of Unreal Engine and real-time applications.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning reconstruction techniques such as NeRFs and Gaussian Splats.
• Must have a valid Passport for international travel and be able to travel for extended periods on short notice.
