Data Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable pipelines for the Data Foundation ecosystem.
• Implement industry-standard data models to capture internal customer experiences and ensure long-term usability.
• Architect high-performance data solutions and automate workflows for content, growth, and pubsports areas.
• Optimize query performance and resolve pipeline bottlenecks to improve data accessibility.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Contribute to the Data Engineering discipline by shaping infrastructure, craft standards, and tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Spark, SQL, DBT, and AWS.
• 4+ years of experience with Airflow and Databricks.
• English: Upper-intermediate to fluent proficiency required for real-time conversations.
• Availability: Ability to overlap with Eastern Time (ET) is required.
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding other engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with GoLang in a data engineering context.
• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Experience with MLOps and GenAI pipelines and infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
