TL;DR

Senior C&B Specialist (HR): Designing and implementing global compensation and benefits frameworks with an accent on job architecture, grading methodologies, and market benchmarking. Focus on building scalable processes, performing complex cost modeling, and providing data-backed guidance to leadership to support organizational growth.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Design and implement global compensation policies, salary structures, and incentive frameworks.
  • Lead global grading projects, including job architecture design and ongoing governance.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and pay equity analyses to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Perform cost modeling and scenario analysis for annual merit cycles and structural changes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing data-backed salary recommendations and reward guidance.
  • Negotiate with external vendors and manage reward-related services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • 6+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or analytical HR/Finance roles.
  • Proven expertise in grading structures, job evaluation methodologies, and job architecture.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in financial modeling and large datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to present complex topics to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with multi-country and global regulatory environments.
  • Experience with employee benefit plan administration.
  • Proficiency in Google Workplace and HiBob.
