What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, including salaries, allowances, bonuses, and final settlements.
  • Ensure accurate computation and timely remittance of statutory obligations such as PAYE, pension, NSITF, and ITF.
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports and conduct reconciliations against HRIS records and bank payment files.
  • Maintain confidential employee payroll records and ensure data integrity throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Develop and improve payroll controls and standard operating procedures to prevent errors and fraud.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll queries and manage relationships with external vendors and tax consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in payroll administration within fintech or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian payroll administration, PAYE, pension, and labour-related compliance.
  • Experience using HRIS, payroll software, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee compensation data with high confidentiality.
