What you will do

• Develop industrial control software using OOD/OOP principles within a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Write, test, and deploy high-quality code for wafer processing platforms.
• Document software design specifications, test plans, and release notes.
• Test software on hardware in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure all software meets rigorous standards for safety, quality, performance, and security.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Newport, Wales.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer in a technical industry.
• Strong proficiency in OOD/OOP using languages such as Java, C++, or C#.
• Experience working within multi-disciplined project teams.
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analytics in a machine controls environment.
• Knowledge or experience with AI integration in industrial systems.
