TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (Fintech): Building and optimizing a scalable developer platform called Nexa with an accent on context awareness and automation. Focus on creating stable pipelines, integrating various data sources, and ensuring operational guardrails for thousands of engineers.
Location: Must be based in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work there (Hybrid in Utrecht). Relocation is not provided.
Salary: €4,931 – €7,043 per month

What you will do
- Create, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Connect various internal data sources within the bank to create intelligence and insights.
- Ensure that Context Awareness capabilities are safely consumed via stable pipelines and automation.
- Coordinate frontend/backend contract changes and maintain shared API definitions.
- Implement observability, including clear logging and debuggability for async and data-sync flows.
Requirements
- Must be located in the Netherlands and possess a valid work permit.
- Strong TypeScript skills across the full stack.
- Experience with React/Vite architecture and functional components.
- Proficiency in Fastify API design (Node, tRPC) with schema-first validation.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (YAML).
- Strong testing discipline using Vitest, Playwright, or MSW.
Nice to have
- GraphQL fluency using Apollo or Mercurius.
- Experience with Neo4j-backed flows and RabbitMQ async workflows.
- Knowledge of OAuth token lifecycles and role switching.
- Affinity or experience with AI, LLMs, and code generation.
