ServiceNow Junior Developer (ITSM)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop and configure custom ServiceNow applications, forms, modules, and workflows for Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Design and optimize automated processes that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support compliance.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware, and integration hubs.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and apply scalability and usability best practices.
• Implement secure solutions aligned with access controls, audit requirements, and financial industry standards.
• Collaborate with developers, process owners, and IT stakeholders in an agile environment.

Requirements

• At least one year of practical ServiceNow configuration and scripting experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL, GlideAPI, JSON/XML, REST/SOAP, Business Rules, and client scripts on ServiceNow.
• Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management in enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Collaborative communication style, ownership, adherence to coding standards, and continuous learning.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and availability for hybrid work in Madrid three days per week.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Associate Developer certification.
• Additional languages.
