Automation Test Engineer (Process Automation)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Create end-to-end and integration tests independently.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure smooth operation.
• Develop code-based mocks for services to support complex testing activities.
• Diagnose root causes of defects and collaborate with engineers for timely fixes.
• Automate non-functional tests aligned with engineering principles.
• Coach junior team members on the product domain and automation best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation with a strong understanding of frameworks.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar alternatives.
• Experience writing code-based tests in C# or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to resolve test failures efficiently.
• Experience with API testing, event-driven testing, contract testing, and service mocking.

Nice to have

• Experience with non-functional testing, including performance, security, reliability, and chaos testing.
• Familiarity with test observability (logs, traces, metrics).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and its impact on testing strategy.
