Compensation: $30,000 - $32,000 USD Annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Build reusable test components for Snowflake, Databricks, ADF, and Airflow.
• Automate schema validation, regression testing, and data contract checks.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across ingestion and transformation layers using SQL.
• Perform root-cause analysis for data inconsistencies and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Drive QA best practices and create documentation to elevate the overall data quality discipline.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of QA Automation experience in data-intensive or analytics-driven environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, profiling, and regression testing.
• Hands-on experience with Python for automation scripting and data validation.
• Extensive experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and at least one test automation framework.
• Availability during core collaboration hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST (USA) / 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, ADF, AWS Glue, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Exposure to streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Debezium.
• Familiarity with metadata/lineage tools, dbt tests, Airflow, or Fivetran.
• Experience with Python-based frameworks like pytest, unittest, or Behave.
• Familiarity with Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Robot Framework, or Great Expectations.
