What you will do

• Lead technical direction, architecture, and engineering best practices for Android teams.
• Design and implement complex, high-performance Android features with a focus on maintainability.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows to increase productivity and code quality.
• Own and improve engineering standards for testing, observability, and release quality.
• Evaluate emerging Android ecosystem trends and AI technologies to enhance developer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building Android applications with Kotlin, including Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack.
• Strong technical leadership experience in driving architectural decisions and mentoring developers.
• Expertise in designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile applications.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to drive AI innovation.
• Professional proficiency in English for regular communication with global partners.
• Work visa or immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development practices.
• Background working on high-traffic Android applications serving millions of users.
• Experience with system apps, OEM integrations, or device-level Android features.
• Knowledge of web development and building integrations between mobile and web platforms.
