What you will do
- Build 3D level layouts in Unity that ensure high quality of visual and gameplay experience.
- Rapidly prototype layout concepts, physics puzzles, and environmental hazards utilizing 3D engines.
- Design and implement highly interactive, physics-based levels and mechanics to encourage player expression and cooperation.
- Collaborate with programmers and artists to fine-tune emergent environmental systems for intuitive and responsive feel.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of 3D environmental design and physics-driven mechanics.
- Professional experience in game design, preferably with a shipped 3D platformer, puzzle, or multiplayer sandbox title, or experience creating gameplay modifications for such games.
- Practical, hands-on experience with modern 3D game engines (Unity/Unreal) and proficiency with block-out/greyboxing tools.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Ability to adapt to a rapid and highly iterative work process.
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of cooperative multiplayer dynamics.
- Experience working on physics engines, ragdoll mechanics, or highly systemic gameplay.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling packages like Blender for layout drafting.
- Passion for comedic, physics-based, or indie multiplayer games.
