What you will do
- Partner with HRBP to advise managers and employees on performance management processes.
- Conduct employee relations investigations and resolve related issues.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on job leveling, role descriptions, and offers.
- Support compliance with the Japan Labor Standards Act and internal Work Rules.
- Provide administrative support for monthly payroll processing and social insurance procedures.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Coordinator role in Japan.
- Fluent Japanese and business-level English (written and verbal) are required for communication with global stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of Japanese labor laws and social insurance systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- HR experience within a global SaaS organization.
- Experience using G-Suite, Workday, and Culture Amp.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization across multiple time zones.
