What you will do
- Lead systems engineering across the full turbofan propulsion lifecycle, from concept development to service entry.
- Establish and maintain the Systems Engineering framework, including SEMP, requirements management, and V&V plans.
- Drive system architecture definition, functional decomposition, and interface management across subsystems.
- Lead engine-to-aircraft integration in coordination with airframe and control system teams.
- Oversee System Safety and RMST activities with safety and reliability engineering teams.
- Manage technical baselines, configuration control, and engineering change management through PDR and CDR reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- 18-28 years of experience in systems engineering within turbofan propulsion or aerospace.
- Strong expertise in systems integration, requirements management, and certification processes.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and PLM environments.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with external certification authorities.
- Familiarity with civil or military certification frameworks such as EASA, FAA, or EMAR.
