What you will do

• Drive cost reduction, price negotiations, and supplier selection for electronic components in collaboration with Global Component Engineering.
• Define commodity strategies and identify preferred or strategic suppliers.
• Negotiate Volume Purchase Agreements (VPAs), long-term Price Books, and step pricing.
• Establish early warning systems to monitor material shortages, lead time increases, and allocation situations.
• Collaborate with global R&D sites during product development to ensure optimal cost/performance ratios.
• Manage supplier relationships (SRM) and handle escalations regarding material availability.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Business Administration with strong technical understanding.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in the Telecom, Networking, or Electronics industry.
• Deep understanding of the IC industry, specifically FPGAs, ASSP, and CPLDs.
• Business-fluent English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Saint-Blaise, Switzerland.
