Full Stack Developer (Blockchain, Node.js, React)

About the Role Humanity Founders is hiring a Full Stack Developer to build the core token ecosystem powering our platform. This role is best suited for a Full Stack Developer based in the US or Europe with 3 to 5 years of professional experience. You will work on a production-grade system that combines ERC-20 token infrastructure, a high-performance backend, real-time market data, and a trading-focused application layer.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core features across the full-stack platform, including smart contracts, backend services, and frontend applications.
• Build and maintain the Node.js API, delivering reliable REST endpoints and real-time WebSocket data for markets and trading flows.
• Integrate blockchain functionality such as ERC-20 interactions, RPC-based balance checks, and token-driven access control.
• Develop and support swap quote and transaction flows, enabling seamless token interactions within the app.
• Contribute to the React + TypeScript frontend, including trading interfaces, market data visualization, and wallet connectivity.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability, and support the transition from demo infrastructure to a production-ready environment.
• We prioritize clean architecture, performance, and reliability over quick hacks, and expect engineers to take a thoughtful, system-level approach to development.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Based in the US or Europe, with availability for collaboration during core overlap hours.
• Strong experience in Node.js (or similar backend languages) and experience building REST APIs and real-time systems (WebSockets preferred).
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with experience building interactive, data-driven UIs.
• Proven experience with blockchain development, including Ethereum, ERC-20 tokens, and RPC interactions (ethers/viem or similar).
• Experience in trading systems or real-time applications, such as order books, matching logic, or market data flows.
• Hands-on experience with API design, system performance, and data consistency in applications handling live updates.

Tech Stack Core Technologies (Required)

• Backend: Node.js — APIs, WebSockets, order matching logic.
• Frontend: React + TypeScript — trading UI, real-time data handling.
• Smart Contracts: Solidity — ERC-20 implementation, minting, on-chain interactions.

Secondary / Supporting Technologies

• Blockchain Integration: Ethereum, RPC providers, transaction handling, balance queries.
• Real-Time Systems: WebSocket streaming for live market and trading updates.
• Storage: File-based persistence for order books and trade history.
• Optional Integrations: DEX routing (swap quoting), wallet providers (e.g., MetaMask).

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced smart contract development and security practices beyond standard ERC-20 implementations.
• Familiarity with DEX protocols and routing logic (e.g., Uniswap) and swap execution flows.
• Understanding of trading systems concepts such as order books, matching engines, and market data pipelines.
• Experience working with high-performance backend systems and real-time event processing.
• Knowledge of wallet integrations and Web3 tooling, including libraries like ethers.js.
• Familiarity with production deployment and scaling, including containerization, monitoring, and infrastructure setup.
