Software Engineer (Cloud)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Cloud/Fullstack): Building and deploying cloud-based software products for internal R&D and DoD contracts with an accent on full-stack development, geospatial data, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on developing technology demonstrators, implementing Agile (SAFe) methodologies, and ensuring security compliance for government projects.

Location: Fully on-site in Orlando or Tampa, Florida. Must be a U.S. citizen

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and sustain cutting-edge cloud-based technology demonstrators.
• Conduct technical demonstrations for leadership and potential customers.
• Participate in all SDLC phases, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Collaborate within an Agile (SAFe) team participating in scrums and planning.
• Maintain strict security and data protection policies for government information.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required due to government contract requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, software, or computer science.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least two areas: Frontend (React, Angular, Vue), Backend (.NET, Python, C++), DevOps (K8s, Docker), or Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Eligibility for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with GIS, Cesium, and geospatial data processing (GDAL, PostGIS).
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or VR.
• Experience with game engines like Unity 3D or Unreal Engine.
• SAFe Certification or IAT Level 2 Certification (e.g., Security+).
