TL;DR
Senior Engineer (Data Search): Building a creator search engine indexing 400M+ influencer profiles and billions of media files with an accent on generating multimodal embeddings, advanced filtering, ranking, and relevance scoring. Focus on designing low-latency indexing pipelines, deploying LLMs and vector search into production, and experimenting with semantic search and recommendations.
Location: Fully remote from anywhere in Europe with some overlap with GMT+3.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end high-impact projects from idea to launch in the Data Search team.
- Design, build, and optimize large-scale data products for search systems.
- Generate embeddings from images, videos, text, and audio at massive scale.
- Deploy latest ML models including LLMs for semantic and vector search.
- Collaborate with Data Core, Data Insights, and product teams on features.
- Continuously improve search accuracy, speed, scalability, and low-latency querying.
Requirements
- Based in Europe with some overlap with GMT+3.
- Solid experience as Data or Backend Engineer with large-scale data products.
- Built full products from concept to production including scoping, architecture, implementation.
- Strong system design skills for high-volume environments.
- Hands-on building agentic/LLM-powered features in production.
- Familiarity with AWS (SageMaker, Glue, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, ECS).
- Clear communication, collaborative mindset, autonomy in fast-paced startups.
Nice to have
- Worked with multimodal embeddings (image, video, text, audio).
- Experience with vector search, embeddings, semantic search, ranking algorithms.
- AI/ML experience including deploying models or GPU infrastructure.
- Deep care for code quality and best practices.
- Interest in creator economy.
