TL;DR
Tech Lead (.NET): Designing and delivering robust features for a SaaS platform serving churches and charities with an accent on technical leadership, architecture decisions, and team mentoring. Auckland, hybrid (2 days WFH per week), must have full working rights for New Zealand.

is a New Zealand-born SaaS business with offices in Auckland, NZ and the United States, providing mobile apps, church management software, and digital giving technology to help churches and charities build communities.
What you will do
- Design and deliver robust features in C# / .NET while staying hands-on.
- Guide technical decisions, architecture, and trade-offs for the team.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Managers on delivery priorities.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and encourage strong practices in design, testing, and deployment.
- Identify risks early, create clarity during uncertainty, and connect engineering work to customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to reason about distributed systems.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core; familiarity with NodeJS, React, databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), REST/GraphQL, messaging (RabbitMQ, SQS), AWS, microservices.
- Technical leadership skills: guiding teams, mentoring, balancing delivery and quality.
- Full working rights for New Zealand required.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI services (Claude, Bedrock, Langfuse).
- Knowledge of Entity Framework, ORMs, OTel instrumentation.
