Medical Science Liaison

TL;DR

Medical Science Liaison (Anti-Infective): Provide field-based non-promotional scientific expertise and educational support for pre-launch activities of Anti-Infective product in Swiss market with an accent on building relationships with KEEs, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions. Focus on facilitating discussions on therapeutic areas, delivering scientific presentations, supporting clinical trials, and contributing to medical strategic plans.

Location: Switzerland (Field Based/Remote, Primary: Basel)

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with Key External Experts, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions.
• Serve as scientific expert in discussions on therapeutic areas, medical education, and research.
• Plan and participate in advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific symposia.
• Deliver scientific presentations and respond to medical inquiries per Swiss regulations.
• Support clinical trial activities and investigator engagement for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research.
• Contribute to local medical plans and represent company at medical congresses.

Requirements

• Proven MSL experience in Switzerland with strong knowledge of Swiss healthcare market
• Degree in life sciences (medicine, pharmacy preferred)
• Good understanding of local Code of Practice and Swiss regulations
• Excellent networking, presentation, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to communicate scientific information to diverse audiences
• Cross-functional collaboration and high personal accountability

Nice to have

• Anti-Infective / Infectious Disease experience (Anti-Fungal ideal)
• Oncology or intensive care background
• Previous pre-launch experience
