What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Implement and evolve REST and gRPC APIs following best practices and versioning standards.
• Ensure service reliability through unit/integration testing and root-cause analysis.
• Manage PostgreSQL schema design and performance tuning integrated with Redis caching.
• Build and debug containerized services using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes (GKE).
• Implement security fundamentals including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT validation, and RBAC.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Java (17 or 21) and Spring Boot in production systems.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and familiarity with gRPC concepts.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and backend security fundamentals.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and JPA/Hibernate.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployments and debugging.
• English: Advanced level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies.
• Proficiency in NoSQL databases and Redis caching.
• Exposure to GitOps (ArgoCD), Tekton pipelines, or Helm/Kustomize.
• Knowledge of GCP services (GKE, IAM, Cloud Logging/Monitoring).
• Background in prototyping or integrating AI-driven automation.
