TL;DR
Lead Software Engineer (Automotive): Develop and deliver high-quality C++ applications for Functional Safety analysis integrated into EDA flows with an accent on ISO26262 and IEC61508 standards. Focus on leading technical decisions, architectural solutions, object-oriented development, testing, and mentoring the team.
Location: Hybrid work at Av Contorno 5800, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil

What you will do
- Technically lead the team of software engineers, making technical decisions to define software and architectural solutions.
- Develop and test object-oriented C++ applications using structured methodology in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to defining requirements for safety applications and product development.
- Mentor individual contributors to grow the team, develop talent, and retain top performers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of development experience in C/C++ environments.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns.
- Experience with version control (Git, Perforce, SVN), issue tracking (JIRA), and CI/CD DevOps practices in Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with Python, TCL, or other scripting languages.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in cross-disciplinary work to solve complex challenges and passion for building and leading teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Qt framework.
- Previous experience leading a software development team.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs for desktop applications.
