What you will do

  • Partner with studio leadership to define and execute people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Coach and support managers on talent acquisition, development, leadership, and organizational design.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and the localization of global HR programs.
  • Ensure full compliance with Australian employment legislation, including Modern Awards.
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and career growth frameworks.
  • Manage a local cross-functional HR team of three professionals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience at a Mid-Senior level in HR management.
  • Expert knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
  • Experience in coaching leadership and shaping people strategies in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage and lead a local HR team.
  • Experience in the gaming or creative industry.

Hiring process

  • First stage: 40-minute HR interview via Teams.
  • Second stage: 1-hour interview with the Brisbane Studio Manager and Finance Manager.
  • Third stage: 1-hour interview with the VP of HR (Paris) and the Brisbane Studio Manager.
