Vice President of Cybersecurity

What you will do

• Develop and lead overall cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals and risk priorities
• Oversee operations including monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management across internal and client environments
• Serve as advisor to executives and clients in strategic reviews and QBRs
• Establish governance programs, policies, standards, and compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001
• Build, mentor, and lead cybersecurity teams; manage IAM, cloud security, pen testing, vendor risk
• Track KPIs, report risk posture, handle P&L for cybersecurity programs, drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years IT/cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Proven leadership of cybersecurity operations in complex environments
• Expertise in SOC/SIEM, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud/endpoint security, GRC
• Experience designing governance, security standards, compliance frameworks
• Strong client-facing skills for C-suite communication; autonomous strategic leadership

Nice to have

• Prior experience in MSP, MSSP, healthcare, or regulated environments
• CISSP, CISM or similar certifications
• Experience with AI governance and cybersecurity implications
