What you will do

• Design and implement security architectures for AI agents, full-stack applications, and the central GenAI platform.
• Build and maintain comprehensive DevSecOps pipelines including SAST, SCA, DAST, and secret scanning.
• Conduct threat modeling and enforce least-privilege access across the infrastructure.
• Lead security initiatives for flagship AI products, such as UpToDate Expert AI.
• Ensure organizational compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards.
• Mentor other engineers and promote a security-first engineering culture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud security engineering with AWS and/or Azure.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and Bash for security automation.
• Deep experience with CI/CD security integration.
• Strong background in security architecture and threat modeling.
• Experience securing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands (8 days per month).

Nice to have

• Relevant security certifications for AWS or Azure.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with healthcare data security regulations.
• Knowledge of specific security considerations for Large Language Models (LLMs).
