What you will do

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new institutional clients including banks, funds, and insurance companies while managing the full sales cycle to onboarding.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close sales and achieve revenue and assets under custody targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and ensure high-quality servicing.
  • Leverage networks, organize events, and handle inbound enquiries from multiple channels to generate leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on onboarding, compliance, marketing materials, and cross-border opportunities.
  • Prepare sales performance reports, stay updated on products, and represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in institutional sales within a bank, broker, or financial institution.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and onboarding institutional clients.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, brokerage, FX, derivatives, and institutional client needs.
  • Knowledge of MiFID and EU regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with electronic trading platforms like Bloomberg, Integral, or 360T is an advantage.
  • Existing network within Malta and/or relevant international markets is highly desirable.
