TL;DR
Staff Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Automation): Building and optimizing the testing strategy for the Loomi for Shopify product with an accent on AI-driven testing, automated gates in CI/CD, and integration with the Shopify ecosystem. Location: Hybrid; must be based in or able to work from the Prague office (though the company follows a Remote First policy).

What you will do
- Act as the first QA on the Personify team, owning and defining the overall testing strategy.
- Automate testing for both frontend and backend applications using Playwright.
- Integrate automated gates into CI/CD pipelines to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and other QA teams to refine technical design decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor teammates to foster professional growth.
- Implement and explore AI tools to modernize and optimize testing workflows.
Requirements
- Professional experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.
- Expertise in building comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress for FE and BE automation.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Must be located in or able to work from the Prague office to support in-person collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Shopify or general Ecommerce ecosystems.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Jest, and BrowserStack.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Kubernetes.
