Senior Security Engineer (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design, implement and improve security controls across on-premise, cloud and edge environments
• Support security architecture and hardening for servers, OS, cloud platforms, Kubernetes and infrastructure services
• Implement, tune and mature SIEM, alerting and security monitoring platforms
• Support Layer 7 and web security including WAF, reverse proxy, API protection and edge controls
• Manage edge security platforms such as Cloudflare and vulnerability remediation
• Lead endpoint security, EDR, Microsoft Defender, IAM and privileged access initiatives
• Evaluate emerging threats and align controls with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years in dedicated security-focused engineering role
• Strong background in infrastructure, cloud or network security in high-availability environments
• Understanding of Layer 3/4/7 security principles, networking, routing, firewalls and segmentation
• Experience with cloud/hybrid/on-prem security, Cloudflare/Akamai, SIEM/logging/monitoring
• Knowledge of infrastructure hardening, IAM, secrets management, Kubernetes and IaC/automation
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills
