About the Role

You will take end-to-end ownership of one or two core domains (execution, custody integration, market data, risk, or trading core) and ship measurable improvements to regulated, money-moving systems. You will prototype and evaluate Kotlin vs .NET options, define and document agent-driven SDLC patterns, build reliable, well-tested observable code, and collaborate with business, compliance, marketing, and infrastructure to deliver fast, compliant outcomes. You will design, review, test, and operate systems that use coding agents in design, testing and incident response while keeping humans in the loop where required.

Requirements

• 5+ years building production systems where correctness and uptime matter
• Expertise in either the modern JVM ecosystem (Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kafka) or modern .NET (.NET, C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Experience with AWS, EKS and cloud-native observability
• Strong understanding of event-driven systems, idempotency and reconciliation
• Experience operating distributed systems in production
• Systems thinking and ability to communicate architecture, boundaries and data flows
• Daily practical experience using coding agents (e.g., Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, Aider)
• Have built or customised at least one agentic workflow, tool or automation used in practice
• Good judgment on human-in-the-loop requirements for regulated environments
• Strong written communication and ability to write readable design documents

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of one or two core domains end-to-end and deliver measurable improvements
• Prototype, benchmark and document Kotlin versus .NET architectural options
• Define, prove out and document an agentic SDLC using coding agents
• Write clean, well-tested and observable code and raise engineering standards by example
• Collaborate with business, compliance, marketing and infrastructure to deliver compliant systems
