What you will do

• Improve the cost efficiency, reliability, and performance of validation and simulation pipelines.
• Create production-grade APIs, SDKs, and tools to enable diverse validations of autonomous behaviors.
• Enhance ML training pipelines supporting the autonomous behavior organization.
• Contribute to the framework’s architecture, reliability, and scalability to support new use cases.
• Collaborate closely with engineers developing on-vehicle algorithms and models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience.
• Experience optimizing large-scale distributed systems for cost and efficiency.
• Proficiency with Python and familiarity with C++.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
• Must be based in or able to work from Foster City, CA or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with Ray.io, particularly Ray Core and Ray Data.
• Exposure to machine learning workloads (training, inference, data generation) from a cost optimization perspective.
• Background in algorithmic optimization or performance investigation.
