What you will do

• Extend existing Python test frameworks to support migrated platforms.
• Repoint automated API and UI test suites to GCP endpoints and validate functional parity with AWS.
• Design and develop integration tests for Kafka, Pub/Sub, UDP, and REST-based interactions.
• Execute Chaos Toolkit experiments to validate failover, resiliency, and service recovery.
• Integrate automated test execution into Jenkins CI pipelines with comprehensive reporting.
• Adopt AI-assisted and agentic workflows for test authoring and defect analysis.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in test automation for distributed systems and backend services.
• Proficiency in Python testing frameworks such as Pytest, Pynose, and Testcontainers.
• Strong expertise in integration testing for service-to-service and event-driven workflows.
• Experience with UDP integration testing using Python socket modules and Wireshark.
• Hands-on experience with Chaos Toolkit and strong SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Jenkins-based CI/CD orchestration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cloud Service Mesh fault injection concepts.
• Experience with Selenium for UI automation and familiarity with Playwright.
