What you will do

• Develop software for a robotic lunar rover mission and the Ground Data System (GDS).
• Integrate GDS with backend data systems and other subsystem data architectures.
• Collaborate with testbed teams to refine models and mission tools.
• Coordinate with systems teams and mission operations working groups to define requirements and interfaces.
• Conduct mission simulations and integrate software into the Mission Operations Center.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in space vehicle software development.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and developing software for cameras, motors, and sensors.
• Knowledge of spaceflight system design best practices and Git version control.
• Familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience with RTOS and Python scripting.
• Background in ground systems software, mission planning, and mission operations.
• Experience with CMake build systems.
• Ability to run validation, verification, and system validation tests.
