API Specialist

TL;DR

API Specialist (API/Analytics): Supporting and improving the performance of the API ecosystem for global brand partnerships with an accent on performance monitoring and partner integration. Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid). This role does not come with relocation assistance.

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze API performance metrics for assigned partners to identify issues and growth opportunities.
• Support partner integrations and provide technical troubleshooting for internal teams and external partners.
• Develop and optimize monitoring dashboards using tools like Grafana and OpenSearch.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to improve API features.
• Improve API documentation, internal knowledge bases, and support workflows.
• Explore automation and emerging technologies, including AI, to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in operations, support, analytics, or a similar technical role.
• Basic experience working with APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to identifying root causes.
• Clear communication skills for explaining technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or have the legal right to work in the Netherlands (no relocation provided).

Nice to have

• Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Knowledge of JSON or XML.
• Exposure to Grafana, OpenSearch, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience improving business processes and documentation.
