Channel Systems Engineer - District South / Southwest (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Channel Systems Engineer (Cybersecurity): Supporting the pre-sales organization and partner ecosystem in South/Southwest Germany with an accent on network security, channel enablement, and technical value articulation. Focus on designing security architectures, conducting PoCs, and managing technical relationships with distributors and resellers.

Location: Remote (Germany), specifically the South / Southwest district. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time is required.

What you will do

• Support the pre-sales organization in all technical matters, including sales activities and channel enablement.
• Act as the lead technical contact for the regional partner ecosystem and distribution pre-sales.
• Manage technical sales enablement, from general queries and demos to RfX and PoCs.
• Provide architecture and implementation design consultation and best practice guidance for strategic engagements.
• Discover opportunities to upsell and cross-sell hirify.global solutions while maintaining technical relationships.
• Collaborate with internal solution architects and professional services to capture and manage customer requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in channel and/or pre-sales support with proven success.
• Expert level knowledge in networking (SD-WAN, WAN) and network security (Hybrid-Mesh Firewall, SASE, ZTNA).
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Deep experience in installation and configuration of network devices and systems (UNIX/Linux, Windows, containers).
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Ansible, and Terraform, including knowledge of APIs.
• Ability to interface effectively with senior levels of internal and external organizations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Datacenter architectures (ACI, NSX-T) or Cloud architectures with public cloud specialization.
• Experience with Modern Software Architectures (DevOps, IaC) or Security Operations (SIEM Tools, Automation).
• Familiarity with IT Security standards (BSI 200-x, ISO2700x, NIST) and regulations (EU-DSGVO, BDSG, NIS-2/KRITIS).
