Security Engineer (Public Cloud)

TL;DR

Security Engineer (Public Cloud): Perform penetration tests, prevent and respond to cyberattacks, and mitigate security risks for T-Cloud Public, a DevSecOps-driven public cloud platform based on open source software. Focus on automating security testing, analyzing cyber threats, and advising on IT security in an agile environment.

Location: Kosice, Slovakia. Remote working possible only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations. You will be working in the European Union to meet data security requirements.

Salary: from €1,500 brutto monthly (negotiable based on experience, plus variable pay and benefits)

What you will do

• Perform preventive penetration tests and actively combat cyberattacks on public cloud services.
• Drive automation of security testing processes.
• Analyze and mitigate data and cyber risks.
• Act as a trusted advisor on information and IT security.
• Collaborate in a team of specialists using agile methods in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Located in Slovakia (remote only within Slovakia); work in EU for data security.
• Completed technical/engineering studies or comparable training.
• Minimum 2 years IT experience, ideally in cloud security/penetration testing.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong Linux and network services knowledge; relevant certifications (OSCP, CISSP, etc.).
• Knowledge of scanning/assessment/automation tools, agile processes.

• Experience in penetration testing and averted attacks.
