What you will do

• Develop and implement small-to-medium features for the Engage Suite to help brands harness guest data.
• Write maintainable code adhering to established standards and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand requirements and resolve software bugs.
• Manage code changes using version control and contribute to sprint ceremonies.
• Optimize the delivery pipeline, ensuring high code quality and testing standards.
• Participate in on-call duties to maintain system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of one year industry experience in a software development position post-graduation.
• Proficiency in Node.js (core stack), or experience with Python or .NET.
• Experience with Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or NUnit.
• Must be based in Northern Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and AWS tools like SNS/SQS.
• Basic understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
