TL;DR
Appian Developer: Design, develop, and deploy low-code applications on the Appian platform for the Army acquisition community with an accent on legacy modernization, enterprise system integrations, and workflow/case management solutions. Focus on building scalable, secure applications using SAIL, Process Models, Data Fabric, and APIs while applying DevOps best practices in Agile environments.
Location: Ft. Dix, NJ (onsite). Secret Clearance required. US citizens only.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy Appian low-code applications including interfaces, records, reports, and process models.
- Modernize legacy applications by re-platforming from older technologies.
- Integrate Appian with enterprise systems via web services, APIs, and data migration.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, optimize applications, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- CompTIA Sec+ certification and Appian Developer Certification.
- Secret Clearance (US citizens only).
- 2+ years hands-on Appian development experience on enterprise projects.
- Expertise in Appian components: SAIL, Data Fabric, Process Models.
- Experience with business process modeling, workflow automation, case management, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot or equivalent AI solution.
Nice to have
- Experience with Army, DoD, or acquisition domain.
