Backend Developer (Gamedev)

Location: Lviv or Kharkiv offices (Ukraine) or remote from Ukraine or Poland.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the server-side of the game
• Create tools to support and analyze game server functions
• Solve design and optimization issues in game code
• Communicate with game designers, marketing, and analytics teams

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software development experience
• Knowledge of OOP, C#, .NET, MS SQL Server/T-SQL, ASP.NET
• Understanding of SOLID principles and clean code skills
• Ability to reason decisions and present ideas
• English at intermediate level or higher
• Field-specific technical education

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools (Claude, Codex, etc.)
• Experience with profiling tools (dotTrace, dotMemory)
• Experience with cloud-hosted solutions
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
