What you will do

• Promote and embed secure coding best practices across engineering teams.
• Review applications, infrastructure, and development processes to identify security gaps and risks.
• Partner with developers to recommend and implement practical security improvements.
• Evaluate and implement security tools and products to improve the firm's security posture.
• Support vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and security monitoring initiatives.
• Lead ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance efforts, including control implementation and audit support.

Requirements

• Experience in a Security Engineer or Application Security role.
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and common application security risks.
• Ability to perform periodic security reviews and identify control gaps in systems and workflows.
• Hands-on experience supporting or leading ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification/readiness processes.
• Practical, risk-based mindset to balance security and business needs.
• Location: Must be based in Taipei (onsite)
