What you will do

• Lead end-to-end data center build-out, from gathering site requirements to implementation.
• Manage the RFP process for power, cooling, network, and security systems, including vendor selection.
• Architect and deploy high-performance storage and database clusters on bare-metal hardware.
• Develop and execute migration plans from existing cloud environments to owned facilities.
• Establish operational procedures for capacity planning, fleet management, and disaster recovery.
• Create budgets, forecasts, and ROI models to monitor cost-savings relative to cloud spend.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data center design and build, with at least two 0→1 facility deliveries.
• Deep expertise in power distribution, UPS systems, cooling, racking, and network backbone design.
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal server provisioning and virtualization (e.g., KVM, VMware).
• Strong background in tuning storage and database performance (PostgreSQL, KDB).
• Location: Must be based in Taipei and willing to travel to local data centers.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in financial services or hedge-fund infrastructure (colo infra).
• Familiarity with cloud-to-on-prem migrations and hybrid cloud networking.
• Fluency in English.
