What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical software applications and backend services.
• Modernize legacy applications through refactoring and improving code quality.
• Improve build pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and engineering automation.
• Diagnose and resolve reliability issues and complex technical bugs in service-oriented environments.
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment via code reviews and design discussions.
• Prepare detailed software specifications, test plans, and validation documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET across both Framework and modern environments.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud-hosted services and RESTful Web APIs.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Must be based in Washington State.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure cloud services (subscriptions, resource groups, hosted components).
• Familiarity with service-to-service authentication and secure communication patterns.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent pipeline migration tools.
• Knowledge of secure-by-default engineering practices and platform compliance.
