What you will do

• Architect China's A&R roadmap, aligning talent acquisition with regional/global demands.
• Scout, sign, and develop songwriters defining modern culture.
• Pitch demos for high-profile sync placements with labels, managers, and film/TV producers.
• Monitor social trends on Douyin, WeChat, Instagram to spot emerging hit-makers.
• Lead songwriting camps, events, and collaborative sessions.
• Collaborate regionally on playlists, newsletters, PR, and contract renewals.

Requirements

• 5+ years in A&R, music publishing, or artist management with proven placements
• Extensive network in China’s entertainment ecosystem
• Native-level Mandarin and professional English proficiency
• Bachelor’s in music business, marketing, or related
• Deep music trend awareness across genres
• Experience in deal negotiation and catalog management
