Operations Engineer (AWS)

TL;DR

Operations Engineer (AWS): Supporting cross-functional development teams with infrastructure, cloud management, security, IT operations, and automation with an accent on AWS administration, Python scripting, and system reliability. Location: UA-Remote (full-time in Ukraine). Flexibility to work remotely or from office.

What you will do

• Manage infrastructure and AWS cloud environments including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and cost optimization.
• Handle endpoint management, identity & access management, and security & compliance support.
• Provide developer enablement, support & IT operations, and respond to incidents.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, maintain documentation, and assist with project support.
• Troubleshoot networking issues (VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls) and monitor systems for performance and security.

Requirements

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in IT Operations, DevOps, Systems Administration, or similar.
• Solid AWS proficiency (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, networking, cost optimization).
• Python scripting for automation and API integration; Bash/PowerShell a plus.
• Linux system administration; familiarity with Windows/macOS.
• Networking fundamentals and security best practices (patch management, least-privilege, incident response).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting tools, and problem-solving skills.
