TL;DR

Information Review and Release Analyst - SME: Review and redact classified documents and records based on EO 13526, FOIA, and Privacy Act with an accent on critical thinking, legal exemptions, and consistency. Focus on researching prior decisions, identifying OGA equities, and recommending releases using customer systems and tools.

Location: Onsite in Sterling/Herndon, VA area. Works an eight-hour shift between 6:00AM-6:00PM, Monday-Friday; infrequently provides surge support outside normal hours.

What you will do

• Review and redact equities in classified documents per SOPs, workflows, and policies.
• Submit requests to scanning and search teams for document research.
• Provide rationale for redactions using exemption codes and record decisions.
• Research previous release decisions for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify OGA equities and prepare referrals or coordination.
• Collaborate with supervisors to recommend process improvements.
• Assist with training new search team members as requested.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1.
• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with relevant experience in information review/release.
• Strong critical-thinking skills for evaluating cases and using customer systems/tools.
• Excellent time management and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work and handle ad hoc duties.
• Must work onsite in Herndon/Sterling, VA area, part-time (24 hours/week).
