Location: hirify.global offices in St. Louis, Missouri; Dallas, Texas; Downers Grove, Illinois. This position works at the hirify.global office.

Salary: $89,000 to $148,100

What you will do

• Design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications using VB/.NET, ASP, C#, and Angular, migrating legacy code to modern architectures.
• Work with PL/SQL and PostgreSQL for data access, transformation, and performance tuning.
• Architect and build secure, scalable applications in AWS cloud (EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3).
• Develop reusable code libraries, frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and enforce code quality with SonarQube.
• Create PowerShell scripts and automation tools for deployment and environment management.
• Integrate Python and GenAI for automation, decision-making, and user experience enhancements.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps; mentor juniors and contribute to best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in VB/.NET, ASP, C#, PL/SQL.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
• Experience with AWS cloud deployment and services.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline), SonarQube, PowerShell scripting.
• Exposure to Python, Generative AI (Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI APIs).
• Enterprise security, scalability, performance best practices; life insurance or financial services experience.
• Agile/Scrum, collaboration skills; AWS certification preferred.

Nice to have

• Background in accounting or accounting systems.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.
