What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute test plans for pluggable optical modems, focusing on optical calibration and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware design engineers to analyze and resolve performance and reliability issues.
• Evaluate and select test instrumentation, balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
• Work with external vendors to optimize test solutions and interpret specifications.
• Transfer test processes and troubleshooting knowledge to contract manufacturing partners.
• Document test procedures, results, and analyses for cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in test coverage, automation, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with optical measurements and optical test instrumentation.
• Proven experience developing automated test suites for hardware using object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured debugging approach.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with MATLAB for test solutions.
• Exposure to test process transfer in contract manufacturing.
• Familiarity with project management in engineering or test settings.
