TL;DR
Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T): Management and configuration of software-defined networks using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI with an accent on firewalls, automation, and integration with systems like load balancers and ServiceNow. Focus on bulk API configurations, script creation for automation, resolving complex data center issues, and mentoring colleagues.
Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in office): Prague, Brno or Pardubice, Czech Republic. Czech language proficiency required. Driver's license (category B) required.

What you will do
- Manage and configure SDN networks (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI) and NSX-T firewalls in data centers.
- Perform bulk configurations using native APIs and develop automation scripts integrating with firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
- Analyze and resolve complex operational issues in data centers and network infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation, contribute to standards with security focus, and issue vulnerability recommendations.
- Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate on new services, projects, and cross-departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack
- Knowledge of SDN networks in data centers and VMware technologies including containerization
- Programming/scripting skills for infrastructure automation
- Czech language proficiency (required), English B2
- Driver's license (category B)
- Reliability, analytical problem-solving, resilience under stress, and passion for learning new technologies
Nice to have
- Experience with specific integrations like Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, ServiceNow
