Principal Software Developer (TypeScript/C++)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain OSDU RDDMS client services and internal cloud-native data services.
• Design and implement data services to support ingestion, retrieval, and integration workflows.
• Ensure secure handling of authentication and authorization across all backend services.
• Collaborate with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to ensure smooth system integration.
• Handle data connectivity between internal cloud-native solutions and the OSDU Data Platform.
• Participate actively in OSDU forums and community discussions to maintain industry alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in backend development.
• Expertise in TypeScript; experience with C++ is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and partitioning.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
• Ability to work effectively in distributed, multi-time-zone remote team environments.
