What you will do

• Own measurement and planning domain as project DRI, translating product requirements into technical plans with milestones and risk assessment.
• Lead execution of complex initiatives by unblocking teams, coordinating stakeholders, and providing clear technical recommendations.
• Build scalable data systems for processing impressions, clicks, conversions, spend, and engagement into actionable insights.
• Design APIs, exports, reporting, and data-serving infrastructure balancing reliability, latency, cost, and maintainability.
• Partner with product, engineering, data science, and business teams to deliver customer-facing measurement and optimization tools.
• Enhance operational excellence through monitoring, testing, data quality, incident response, and documentation.
• Mentor engineers via design/code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Strong experience building scalable backend services, distributed systems, data platforms, or data-intensive applications.
• Proven project leadership on complex initiatives with ambiguous requirements and multiple stakeholders.
• Deep system design skills in APIs, data pipelines, databases, observability, reliability, and operations.
• Strong data quality focus on correctness, freshness, consistency, and efficiency.
• Product judgment for customer-facing reporting, measurement, planning, and analytics systems.
• Excellent technical communication to align stakeholders and document trade-offs.
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising team technical bar.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang, Kafka, TiDB, Redshift, Vitess, Iceberg, StarRocks, or Trino.
• Background in adtech, martech, reporting, analytics, billing, attribution, planning, or high-volume event processing.
